Montreal, May 5th, 2022

The Vancouver based robotics startup - Glüxkind Technologies is announcing their collaboration with NEXT AI Montreal, a leading accelerator program for ventures who integrate AI into their innovative technology. Glüxkind is developing an autonomous robotics platform for the pedestrian environment with the purpose to augment mobility for parents. By adding artificial intelligence to a staple item of parenting gear - the baby stroller, they turn it into a true support gear for every parent’s busy life. With a focus on innovative engineering, practical design, and visionary capabilities, Glüxkind’s motivation is to make life easier for all parents.

Glüxkind is representing Western Canada in this year’s cohort at NEXT AI Montreal as the only startup west of Toronto that has been accepted into Canada’s premiere tech entrepreneurship program. NEXT AI intends to “guide ventures through an intensive program to develop their technical and entrepreneurial skills, taking ventures from ideation to prototyping, market validation and commercialization. World-class professors, mentors and experts join forces to create the next generation of Canadian AI companies with global impact.” The program is hosted in collaboration with HEC Montreal, a leading business school in Montreal that has been at the forefront of data science research for over 40 years. The six month program gives Glüxkind access to world leading experts in AI, a large professional investor network, and seasoned advisors among other benefits including funding.

As Montreal is growing into a knowledge hub for AI technologies in North America, it is the perfect place for Glüxkind to expand its network to key drivers in the space. One of which being MILA, the world class AI research institute with a community of over 900 researchers specializing in machine learning and innovations, which are key to the advancement of Glüxkind’s technology.

Participation in this intensive program will propel Glüxkind into the next phase of its development leading up to launching their intelligent stroller in 2023.
