Stroll #5 - Smart Strolls, Real Stories

For Philip and Asietu, long walks have always been part of daily life. Living in Toronto, Asietu especially loved extended neighborhood strolls well before becoming a mom. When baby Keziah arrived, continuing that routine mattered—but only if their baby could be cozy, comfortable and warm along for the ride.

Today, their Glüxkind stroller is part of almost everything they do: neighborhood walks, low-key grocery runs, mall outings, and naps on the go. “Long walks are even more enjoyable now,” they share, “because our baby can nap comfortably while we’re out and enjoy time together.”

Cutting-edge comfort and thoughtful technology, paired with genuinely great customer service.

Why We Chose Glüxkind

Before Glüxkind, we tested a few strollers in store. None really stood out or felt meaningfully different. Philip works in tech and autonomous vehicles, and when he came across Glüxkind, the technology and thoughtful design immediately caught his attention.

We expected a well-designed, innovative stroller. What surprised us was how much the smart features actually improved our day-to-day life. They aren’t just impressive on paper — they genuinely make outings easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable, especially during postpartum recovery and longer walks.

The Features We Rely On

There are a few features we truly wouldn’t want to be without.

Push Assist made a huge difference early on, particularly during postpartum recovery and on uphill walks. Being able to adjust the level of assist depending on how we’re feeling or how far we’re going has made longer outings feel doable and enjoyable.

Rock-my-Baby Mode was one of the features that originally drew us to Glüxkind, and it’s been invaluable from day one. The motion is smooth and incredibly effective at soothing our baby, whether we’re at home or out and about.

Cruise Control quickly became a favourite. The first time we really used it was in the mall — being able to carry a fussy baby while the stroller cruised smoothly ahead felt like a true game-changer.

We also love the built-in white noise and music, which lets us listen to our own audio or take a phone call while our baby stays relaxed. Early on, the bassinet was perfect for naps, cold weather, and snowy days. Now that Keziah has outgrown it, the reclining toddler seat and extended canopy have been ideal for longer outings and naps on the go. And the storage has more than covered our everyday errands and longer walks.

Handling Real-World Terrain

Between uneven sidewalks, longer neighborhood routes, and winter conditions, our stroller gets tested regularly. It handles all of it beautifully. Push assist is especially helpful on inclines and longer distances, and overall the stroller feels stable, smooth, and gives us confidence across different terrains.

A Moment We’ll Always Remember

One moment that really stands out happened when Keziah was just one month old. We went out for our first dinner at a restaurant as new parents, unsure of how it would go. The Rock-my-Baby feature kept her peacefully asleep beside us, and the entire experience felt calm and manageable.

We remember looking over at another couple manually rocking their stroller back and forth and feeling especially grateful for how effortless it was for us in that moment.

A Happier Baby, A Better Walk

Our baby naps wonderfully in the stroller and is clearly very comfortable. The combination of rocking, white noise, and music helps her relax. There was even a phase when stroller walks became more challenging — like many babies, ours loves The Happy Song, and playing it on repeat directly on the stroller completely turned things around and helped us get back to enjoying our walks together.
